170km non-stop - The Ultra Trail Mont Blanc (UTMB). Are you kidding? Spare a thought for Charlie Whelan who will be embarking on this world classic ultra run this Friday. Charlie - whose son Liam was one of Robbie's best friends - is no newcomer to ultra running. He is a seasoned endurance athlete having come third in the St. Oswald's 100-miler. He has been to the UTMB before but tore the ACL in his knee. Despite this he finished.
Charlie will face the ultimate in exhaustion and will have to call upon all reserves of energy and experience even to finish however - he is, as ever, going for a Personal Best!
Please support him and kids with brain tumours here:

Charlie is going great guns. He’ll hit Courmayeur around 9UK. That’s the other side of Mont Blanc. Follow him on UTMB Live

Mountaineering heroes Ed, Laith, George and Dan have just completed the 3 Peaks challenge in 22 hours and 47 minutes for Robbie's Rehab, raising an incredible amount of money for kids with brain tumours. An incredible effort completing the challenge in under 24 hours! We would like to thank the boys - all of whom are currently at university - for their hard training, fundraising and the clinical execution of the task itself. It is a hard one and they performed it in exemplary fashion. Thank you guys! From all the team at Robbie's Rehab. ... See MoreSee Less

A huge congratulations to Will, Charlie, Alex, Alex and Ludo for finishing their epic ride from Cherbourg to Toulouse. The numbers: 950km in 9 days, 42 degree heat and over £15,000 raised - and counting! We have been following their progress. What team work they have shown: Silent endeavour at tough times, a responsible attitude towards nutrition and hydration, lightning reactions to mechanical problems and minor medical issues. Many a conversation - particularly at times of discomfort - about the children they are helping at Robbie's Rehab. We salute these adventurous young men and wish them good rest and recuperation for the rest of the summer holidays. Bon Courage! ... See MoreSee Less
And they're off! robbiesroute has begun. Through blistering heat, the 5 friends have successfully reached Villedieu-des-Pôeles, the first stop on their 8 day, 972km epic cycle to Toulouse from Cherbourg. Fantastic ambition and endeavour from this determined peloton of 17-year-old cycling legends! Raising money for kids with brain tumours, the team will reach Toulouse on 24th July. With thanks to the team: Will, Charlie, Alex, Ludo and Alex. Stay hydrated!

Very proud to introduce our new logo. Designed by Lavinia and Peter Dobie of designhouse, London to whom our grateful thanks go for this pro bono work. Over the next few months, the old logo will be replaced as will the name which will evolve from 'robbiesrally' to 'Robbie's Rehab'. In this way, the charity and service will have the same name. The new cuddly 'R' contains a balloon and string that represents the brain and spine at the centre of Robbie's Rehab's work.
Ideas for new events are coming in and the tradition for events to have the lowercase and double r continues! Watch this space! ... See MoreSee Less

A great evening at Hamptons for robbiesrendezvous - a cocktail party for the friends and heroes of robbiesrally. A huge celebration was in order because so far £531,000 has been raised and donated to our outpatient rehabilitation service - Robbie’s Rehab - which helps kids with brain tumours. 160 people listened as Gary Nicolin, Paediatric Oncologist told us how Robbie’s Rehab has benefitted more than 120 children this year alone. Members of the Robbie’s Rehab Team then read out moving testimonies from 3 of our patients, telling us how our rehabilitation service has transformed their lives during their paths to recovery. We really can not thank all our supporters enough for helping us along with our journey. Thank you to Edgeborough School for their beautiful performance and to everyone who attended. It was a pleasure to have you all 💜 ... See MoreSee Less
